A seminar in University of Basrah titled Assessment of Miocene red clay deposits, eastern Iraq for manufacture building bricks held in the College of Science in Geology Department,  the researcher yasmin Ibraheem Khalaf demonstrated the most important objectives of study by evaluation of the deposits of the study area and  their  suitability as raw materials use in manufacturing of clay bricks.  Preparation  of samples of the normal bricks without adding.  Evaluate of physical, chemical and mineralogical properties for the product bricks and compare it to the requirements of the specification of the Iraqi Standard.
