The College of Science at Basra University has begun to perform the competitive examination for students applying for postgraduate studies (Masters and PhD), taking into account all health guidelines from sterilization of halls, adherence to masks and social distancing between students while taking the exam.
Prof. Dr. Alaa Hassan Abdullah, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, stated that the number of applicants for a study seat amounted to 166 students (115 MA
51 Ph.D.) in the disciplines of chemistry, physics, mathematics, life sciences, earth sciences and ecology.
The interview was conducted for provincial students applying for postgraduate studies on the same day as the competitive examination.
