The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Heavy elements acting as Endocrine disruptors) by the graduate student Alyaa Abbas Nadhim. The study aims to know how heavy metals act as endocrine suppressants, and included Introduction to the most important heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, zinc and mercury and their toxic effect on brain cells,liver and lung cells.
