Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Al-Dahan; under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra; and coordinated by the Head of the Department of biology Sciences, Prof. Dr. Inaam Mahmoud Najm, the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science—in cooperation with the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah—is hosting a scientific workshop titled:
"Benign Breast Conditions"
The workshop will be presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafat Abdul-Jabbar Mohammed from the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah. It is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM, in the Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hassan Al-Atab Hall. The event is organized in coordination with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science and the Continuing Education Committee of the Department of Life Sciences.
The workshop is aimed at researchers and postgraduate students, with the goal of fostering scientific collaboration between the colleges, facilitating the exchange of medical expertise and knowledge, and highlighting benign breast conditions and their clinical and diagnostic significance.
