The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar (prostate cancer and Current Achievements) by the graduate  student Marwa Aqeel Jaseb.The study aims (to introduce prostate cancer, highlight its associated risk factors, explain the mechanisms of its development and progression, and emphasize the importance of early detection and accurate diagnosis. It also aimed to review recent scientific advances in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer) and included ( covered the anatomy and functions of the prostate gland, the epidemiology of prostate cancer, risk factors, clinical features, diagnostic methods, and disease staging and grading. It also highlighted modern diagnostic technologies, including molecular imaging and biomarkers such as Prostate Cancer Antigen 3 (PCA3) ).
