Media Unit at the College of Science

The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled (Assessment of some heavy elements in blood of children with anemia in Basrah province) by the postgraduate student Maram Alaa Hanoon. The study aims to assess the levels of some trace elements in the blood of children with anemia in Basrah Province and to investigate their relationship with anemia and some demographic variables. The study included the collection of blood samples from children with anemia, measurement of some trace elements using appropriate laboratory techniques, and statistical analysis of the results. The study recommended the need for periodic monitoring of trace element levels in children with anemia and paying attention to balanced nutrition.
