The College of Science at the University of Basrah discussed a master’s thesis entitled (Post COVID Immune System Modification/Dysregulation) by (Samara Dheyaa Hashim), which aimed to investigate immune dysregulation in post-COVID-19 syndrome through selected immunological and inflammatory markers. The study demonstrated significantly elevated pro-inflammatory cytokines alongside alterations in T-cell balance. It recommended conducting broader longitudinal studies to further elucidate underlying immune mechanisms and enhance diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
