Under the patronage of the Head of the Department of biology Sciences at the College of Science, Professor Dr. Inam Mahmoud, and in the presence of members of the morning studies examination committee, several faculty members, and first-year students, a ceremony was held to honor the top three students in the first year, in recognition of their academic excellence and distinction throughout the academic year.

The ceremony included the distribution of commemorative gifts to the top students, an initiative reflecting the department's commitment to supporting and motivating high-achieving students to continue their academic journey and to foster a culture of excellence and achievement within the university environment.

During the ceremony, the department head emphasized that this recognition stems from the department's belief in the importance of celebrating success and appreciating the efforts made. She wished the honored students continued excellence and success, and all students in the department further achievements and accomplishments in their academic careers.
