The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar  (The Association between Cytochrome p4502D6 Gene Polymorphisms with Bowel Diseases in human)

by the graduate student  Ghada thaer Mohammed The study aimed to investigate the association between genetic polymorphisms of the CYP2D6, NOD2, GSTM1, and GSTT1 genes and the risk of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

and included The study included 100 blood samples from patients with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and 100 blood samples from healthy individuals who served as the control group.
