The Department of Ecology at the College of Science, University of Basrah, conducted the competitive entrance exam for postgraduate applicants for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Seventeen applicants participated, including twelve for Master's programs and five for Doctoral programs.

The exam proceeded smoothly under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Adel Ali Abdul-Hassan, and the Head of the Department of Ecology, Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Wahab Najm. Following the exam, the postgraduate applicants were interviewed by the designated committee.
