The delegation, from the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Unit at the College of Agriculture, University of Basra, conducted a field visit to the College of Science.

The visit included the Department of Ecology's laboratories for biotechnology and microbiology, as well as the central laboratory, to observe the latest equipment and technologies used in precise extraction and laboratory analysis.

The aim of the visit was to open new avenues for research collaboration and the exchange of technical expertise between the two colleges, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This collaboration seeks to improve the quality of scientific output and address environmental and agricultural challenges using modern scientific methods.

The delegation was briefed on the operation of the advanced equipment and its application in specialized research that integrates agricultural science and biotechnology.
