The University of Basrah organizes a seminar  (Bio molecules produced from algae)

The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar (Bio molecules produced from algae) by the graduate student Alyaa Abdul Hussein Alwan  aims role of  Algae in produced higher value biomolecules, including proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, and pigments (carotenoids, chlorophyll) for food, feed, pharmaceutical, and biofuel industries and included Algae act as sustainable biofactories with rapid growth rates , synthesizing compounds s support algal daptation to environmental stress and exhibit potent biological activities, such as anticancer  antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antimicrobial effects, that are increasingly valued for applications in medicine, cosmetics, and functional foods
