The Department of Physics at the College of Sciences, University of Basrah, organized a panel discussion titled (Radon and Life),  presented by Dr. Riad Manadi Ramadan, with the participation of several faculty members and graduate students.

The seminar aimed to provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge in nuclear physics and to enhance their analytical and practical understanding through discussion and real-world examples.

The session included a presentation on the concept of radon gas, its physical and chemical properties, isotopes, and sources, as well as its health effects and methods for detecting and preventing it.
