Under the patronage and in the presence of the Head of the Department of bioloyg Sciences, Professor Dr. Inam Mahmoud Najm, and with the participation of the department's coordinator and faculty members, the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, University of Basra, held a ceremony to honor a number of its retired professors in recognition of their distinguished scientific careers and outstanding contributions to the institution.

Those honored included Dr. Nasser Abdul Ali, Dr. Karim Hilal, and Dr. Thaer Abdul Ali, in appreciation of their significant efforts and valuable contributions to the development of the educational and research process within the department.

During the event, the department head emphasized that this honoring comes as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the many years of dedicated service rendered by the professors, and as a commitment to upholding the values ​​of respect and recognition for scholars.
