The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar  (Diabetic  Foot Infections: Pathophysiology , causes, diagnosis and treatment) by the postgraduate (PhD) student Nooralden Abdulkarem Jasim .The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of these infections by explaining their underlying mechanisms, identifying the main causes, and reviewing modern diagnostic and therapeutic strategies and included an overview of diabetes mellitus and its systemic effect, highlighting the significance of diabetic foot infections as one of its most serious complications . It also discussed the clinical and economic burden associated with these conditions, the mechanisms of disease development and the major bacterial pathogens involved, along with the most important methods used in diagnosis and treatment.
