The Department of Physics at the College of Sciences, University of Basrah, organized a scientific seminar titled “Fabrication of Thin Tin Sulfide (SnS) Films by a Chemical Method and Study of Their Detection Properties,” presented by graduate student Ali Abdul-Razzaq Jaloud, in the presence of several department faculty members and graduate students.
The study aimed to fabricate thin films of tin sulfide using the chemical bath deposition (CBD) method, as well as to study the structural and surface properties of the prepared films, in addition to determining the bandgap of this material.
The study also focused on analyzing the sensing properties of the fabricated films, given their importance in technological applications, particularly in the fields of sensors and electronic devices.
