The Department of Ecology at the College of Science achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by securing first place in the 2025 ranking of scientific departments across all public and private universities and colleges, out of 11 participating departments.

This achievement is the result of the continuous scientific and academic efforts exerted by the college's deanship, the department head, and the teaching staff, in addition to their commitment to raising the scientific and research standards, developing curricula, and enhancing the practical aspects to meet the demands of the job market.
