The Department of Ecology at the College of Science, University of Basra, participated in a tree-planting campaign in the college gardens as part of the broader campaign to plant trees throughout Basra Governorate.

The planting process was carried out under the supervision and in the presence of Dr. Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra, Dean of the College, Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Wahab Najm, Head of the Department of Ecology, faculty members, staff, and students of the department, with the contribution of the college's gardeners.
