As a gesture of appreciation and pride for their outstanding athletic achievements, the Head of the Mathematics Department at the College of Science, Dr. Mohammed Sari Kadhim, honored the Mathematics Department football team in celebration and recognition of their second-place finish in the Dean's Cup tournament. This victory is considered a remarkable achievement for the department, as the team secured this win in a tournament that included teams representing various departments within the college, from both the morning and evening programs, in addition to a staff team. Besides honoring the players, he also made sure to recognize and appreciate the efforts of the team's organizing and administrative committee for their vital role in supporting the team and facilitating its mission throughout the tournament.
