Following the directives of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, regarding the importance of landscaping, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra, and the Head of the Department of Earth Sciences, Dr. Ali Khalid Al-Ali, the garden of the Department of Earth Sciences has been renovated. It now includes spacious green areas, seating areas, and walking paths. The garden has also been equipped with modern lighting and an advanced irrigation system to enhance its aesthetic appeal and improve the overall environment of the college. This project is part of the college's efforts to improve the university environment, provide spaces for students to relax and study, and offer the best opportunities for academic success.
