Graduate students (master's and doctoral) in the Department of Physics, College of Science, University of Basrah, began their first semester exams for the 2025–2026 academic year on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The exams were conducted smoothly and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Ali Abdul-Imam Abdul-Zahra, with field monitoring by the Head of the Physics Department and the exam committees, in accordance with the approved ministerial instructions and regulations.

The college dean's office emphasized its commitment to providing a suitable academic environment and ensuring the application of standards of quality and scientific integrity, thereby supporting the progress of graduate students and achieving the objectives of educational programs.
