The master's thesis at the Faculty of Science, University of Basra, tagged "the effect of gold and some metals on some hormones and trace elements in women in the city of Basra" was discussed by graduate student Fatima Taleb Naji. 
The study aimed to find out the effect of wearing jewelry made of gold and other metals on female nervous and sexual hormones and the impact on some indicators of the blood picture and on trace elements.
