The University of Basrah discusses a seminar on Study of the Thermal Viscoelastic Fluid Flows

The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics hosted a seminar entitled "Study of Thermal Viscoelastic Fluid Flows" for postgraduate student Asmaa J. Mathkhoor. The seminar presents a numerical investigation of thermal viscoelastic fluid flow problems. A comprehensive revision of the partial differential equations governing this class of complex non-Newtonian fluids was presented. Furthermore, three constitutive stress models were examined: the constant-viscosity Oldroyd-B model and the Phan–Thien / Tanner (PTT) models with exponential and linear shear-thinning approximations.
