The Faculty of Science at Al-kunouz University signed a scientific and academic twinning agreement with the Faculty of Science at the University of Basra, with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of teaching, scientific research, student activities, workshops, career development, and the financial hub, contributing to raising the level of academic performance and exchanging experiences between the two sides.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the dean of the Faculty of Science at Al-kunuz University, Professor Dr. Azhar Ali Al-Sabonji, and the dean of the Faculty of Science at Basra University, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Imam Al-Riahi, and with the participation of a group of professors from both sides, including from the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Shirin Jawad Al-Ali, head of the Department of Pathological Analyses, and from the University of Al-kunuz, Professor Dr. Ali Meknes, Dr. Bodour Nouri, and assistant Safa Hussein Baqer.

During the signing ceremony, the parties stressed the importance of this agreement in consolidating scientific and research cooperation between the two universities, opening new horizons for academic exchange, and establishing joint scientific projects that contribute to community service and the development of the educational and research process.
