The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Science, University of Basra, organized a seminar on breast cancer, its causes, and diagnosis.

The seminar aimed to familiarize attendees with the most important types of breast cancer, the factors that contribute to its development, methods of prevention, and early detection techniques.

The seminar, presented by Dr. Khadija Sami Madhi and Dr. Zainab Barakat Hussein from the College of Medicine, University of Basra, covered the most important tests that women should undergo regularly to prevent the disease from progressing and becoming more difficult to treat.

The workshop recommended performing monthly self-exams and undergoing other diagnostic tests if symptoms of breast cancer appear, in order to stop and control it before it worsens.
