The Department of Ecology at the College of Science, University of Basra, organized a workshop on the factors affecting plant stress. The workshop aimed to explain the impact of environmental factors and practical solutions for reducing plant stress in the ecosystem.

The workshop, presented by Ms. Ritaj Asaad Naji, a lecturer in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science, included an explanation of the defense mechanisms used by plants to reduce stress.

This workshop aimed to utilize plants with the ability to withstand and resist various conditions, including drought, heat, salinity, and others.
