The Department of geoscience at the college of science organized a field scientific trip to zeyback oil company operating the Zubair - Al-burjsiya field with the participation of a team of professors and students of the Department . The visit included familiarizing students with drilling and well drilling equipment at one of the drilling well sites in order to increase scientific knowledge, link theoretical study with practical application and understand the nature of the geologist's work at drilling sites and scientific specialties in foreign and national companies . The visit is part of a regular program of scientific field visits within the study and graduation requirements of the Department.
