The College of Science at the University of Basra organized a discussion panel entitled “Ribbon Antennas: Origin, Developments, Improvements, and Measurement,” presented by graduate student Muhammad Abdul Karim Yusuf.
The study aimed to highlight the potential of the Micro and Optical Communications Laboratory at the Faculty of Science in the field of developing ribbon antennas through simulation, design, manufacturing, and measurement using multiple techniques.
The seminar included a discussion of the stages of development of the modern antenna industry and concluded that the laboratory has the scientific and technical capabilities to attract undergraduate and graduate students in this field.
