The dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Basra, Dr. Ali Abdulamam Abdul Zahra, received a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in appreciation of the efforts of the college and its excellence in academic performance.

This honor came after the Faculty of Science received the rating of "excellence" in the ministerial assessment of the scientific and academic reality for the academic year 2025-2026, according to the results of the relevant ministerial committees.
