The teaching staff of the Physics Department at the College of Science, University of Basra, began the new academic year on Monday,

 September 1, 2025.

On this day, an expanded meeting was held for faculty members, during which various academic and administrative issues of concern to the department were discussed, and emphasis was placed on preparing all the requirements for the students

at the start of the academic year, to ensure a distinguished educational and research environment for students.
