The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a seminar on sustainable water purification technologies: using innovative nanocomposites derived from biological waste.
The seminar, presented by postgraduate student Omar Abdul Amir Al-Badran, aimed to develop sustainable nanocomposites derived from biological waste for use in water purification and to study their effectiveness compared to conventional technologies in terms of efficiency and environmental feasibility.
The seminar addressed the use of environmentally friendly technologies and sustainable methods in line with the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, thus developing water treatment methods, improving water quality, and mitigating pollution.
