The Life Sciences Department Council at the College of Science / University of Basra met on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM. The meeting was finally held by the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Ali Abdul Hamid, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Inaam Mahmoud Najm, Head of the Department; the Assistant Dean and Student Assistant, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Hamad; the Department Student, Dr. Mufid Zahir; and a number of respected faculty members.

The results of the second semester of the 2024-2025 Electricity Program were reviewed, and success rates in the various western stages were discussed. The positive indicators and challenges overcome during the semester were highlighted.

The Dean also delivered a valuable speech, noting the importance of the faculty's dedication to performance and their commitment to raising the academic standard. He listened to the comments and suggestions presented by the professors, emphasizing his keenness to address all obstacles facing academic and environmental work within the department. This meeting is part of a series of comprehensive meetings focusing on communication between the Deanship and faculty members, and monitoring student judicial and educational affairs, including enhancing desired academic performance.
