The Department of pathological analyzes at the Faculty of science at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture on extra-intestinal parasitic infections  
The lecture aimed to inform Parasitology, histopathology, Internal Medicine and ophthalmology specialists that there are parasitic pathogens of diseases that they sometimes encounter  
 
The lecture that was attended by the teaching professor Dr. Muslim Abdul Rahman Mohammed and assistant teacher Ola Abdul Shahid there are many parasitic pathogens that cause intestinal infections that cannot be diagnosed by direct examination methods and require pigmentation operations 
 Many cases of gallbladder injury do not require surgical intervention and can be treated with medication, and the lecturer recommended conducting more explanatory lectures on these types of injuries .
