Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Imam Al-Riyahi, and in coordination with the Head of the Physics Department, Professor Dr. Wael Abdul Latif Kadimi, the Physics Department held a special celebration on Sunday, April 20, 2025, to mark University Day. Activities included exciting physics experiments, honoring the department's top students from the past and current years, an Arabic-inspired corner, a diverse bazaar, a recreational games corner with prizes, various competitions, and walls featuring creative storytelling. The event witnessed a large turnout and significant interaction from students and affiliates, in an atmosphere that combined science and fun.
