The University of Basra discusses a doctoral thesis on the characterization and application of chalcogenide thin films prepared by electrochemical methods.

The College of Science at the University of Basra discussed the doctoral dissertation of Dalal Nasr Manshid, entitled "Characterization and Application of Chalcogenide Thin Films Prepared by Electrochemical Methods." The dissertation included the preparation and characterization of thin films of chalcogenide compounds using electrochemical deposition. The dissertation aimed to improve the performance of these films in advanced energy applications by using cadmium acetate, thermal treatment, and chlorination. The results showed promising efficiency in solar cells and supercapacitors, confirming the importance of this research in enhancing the efficiency of photovoltaic cells and renewable energy applications.
