And included a definition of IBS, the causes of this confusing disorder, its types, symptoms, and how they vary from person to person. The presentation also addressed the difficulty of diagnosis due to the overlap of symptoms with other gastrointestinal diseases, their causes, and the role of microbiota, inflammation, and the immune system in the pathophysiology of IBS. include Management and treatment of IBS by lifestyle changes, diet, and the use of probiotics or medications when needed.
