The President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, hosted, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Abdul Zahra, the biology Department participated in the College of Science garden planting campaign, which was created by the College of Science and the Student Activities Unit on Monday 2/22/2025.
The Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Rahman Abdul Zahra, and the Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Major Muslim Shaaban, participated in the attendance, along with a group of lecturers from the Life Sciences Department, where they contributed to planting green businesses on campus.
This participation comes within the efforts of the Life Sciences Department to spread environmental awareness and encourage students to adopt creative environmental practices, to create a more beautiful and sustainable university environment.
