A master's thesis at the faculty of Sciences at the University of Basrah (Study the prevalence of human Echinococosis in Basrah province and the association of genes polymorphisms with susceptibility to parasitic infections), and showed the researcher's thesis (Fatima Naeem Mahood) investigating the association of TLRs genes polymorphisms with the susceptibility to develop echinococcosis . Thesis aims to investigating the association of TLRs genes polymorphisms with the susceptibility to develop echinococcosis. and concluded The results found the TLR4 Asp299Gly gene polymorphism statistically consider as a protective mutation and the protective effect was observed in female not male and recommended The community should be educated about the importance of echinococcosis.
