
The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a discussion session on the role of algae in producing green coagulants to treat sewage.
The session, in which the student Fatima Muhand Taha lectured, aimed to explain the main role of algae in treating sewage pollution.
The session addressed the most important methods of biological treatment of wastewater.
The session recommended the use of coagulation-flocculation to treat this water using green coagulants.
