The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a Ph.D. thesis entitled (Numerical - Analytical Approaches for Modeling Incompressible Fluid Flow Problems) for postgraduate student Ahmed Rasheed Khalifa. The thesis aims to propose a new technique to find analytical approximate solutions to different forms of non-linear fluid flow problems. The non-linear PDEs representing the governing equations for fluid flow problems are transformed into non-linear ODEs with initial conditions obtained with the aid of BCs by using transformations of non-dimensional variables.
