Ph.D thesis discussed at the Faculty of Science at Basraha University (Association Between Immune Markers of Neutrophil Activation (NETosis)and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss in Women from Basrah Province) by (Sally Shaker Abed). The aim is to evaluate the role of the components of NETosis: protease 57, calprotectin, MPO, and histones H2A, H2B, and H3 in RPL, and the role of PADI4, IL-8, and CD11b in neutrophil activation of neutrophils. It concluded that the immune system plays a role in the pathophysiology of RPL. Age and miscarriage affect the miscarriage. MPO, H2A, H2B, and H3 highlight the interplay of inflammatory responses and neutrophil activation in miscarriage. It recommended discovering signs of necrosis in other inflammatory diseases and studying their effects in autoimmune diseases.
