The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a Ph.D thesis titled  (An Improving of the Order of Approximation by the Bernstein-Type Operators)  for postgraduate student Thaer Hatim. The thesis aims to present an improvement of the order of approximation by the modification of the sequence of classical Bernstein operators (the sequences of Bernstein- Kantorovich operators, the sequence of Summation-Integral type Bernstein operators, the sequence of Bernstein-Schurer-Stancu operators, the sequence of Bernstein-Kantorvich-Schurer-Stancu operators, and the sequence of Summation-Integral-Schurer-Stancu type Bernstein operators.
