A lecturer at the College of Science at the University of Basra, Mr. Moataz Hikmat Othman, in the Department of Ecology, published an article entitled The chaos of using cleaning materials is a danger to women.

The article included an explanation of indoor air quality and its components, which in turn directly or indirectly affect the health problems of the individual and its connection to sick building syndrome and the diseases that spread among people due to the harmful effects of chemicals used in homes.

The article was published in the Iraqi “sky” news agency, which summarized the most important recommendations for women, especially on how to use cleaning materials, use materials that do not harm the environment or human health, and be sure to clean cooling devices inside the home.
