A lecturer at the College of Science at the University of Basra, Mr. Moataz Hikmat Othman, in the Department of Ecology, published an article entitled Cosmetics: A Hidden Danger

The article, which included a detailed explanation of the chemicals included in the components of cosmetics, discussed how these materials spread and their effects in the environment, whether pollution affects the air, water or soil, as well as their negative effects on their users.

The article was published in the Iraqi “sky” news agency, which outlined tips for purchasing cosmetics and how to dispose of them if they are removed, with the aim of protecting the environment and preserving human health.
