Dr. Hashim Jabbar and Ameer F. Shamkhi published a paper entitled " Comparison of structural and magnetic properties of magnetite nanoparticles prepared by green synthesis and chemical co-precipitation methods" in the "Plasmonics", which is indexed in Scopus/Web of Science database. the study aims to the green synthesis resulted in the highest Ms (56.97 emu/g), and Hc (5.302 Oe), whereas the co-precipitation method resulted in Ms  of 15.706 emu/g, and Hc of 25.581 Oe. Moreover, the different Ms and Hc values of the two methods were due to differences in sizes, shapes and surface effects of the prepared Fe3O4 MNPs. In other words, the green method produced particles with spherical shapes and smaller sizes than those of the co-precipitation method with rod-like structure, which in turn led to considerably higher saturation magnetization or exchange interaction together with lower magnetic anisotropy
