A scientific study at the University of Basra is researching " advanced hydrogels from the combined pyrene polymer / graphene reduced oxide to efficiently remove Congo red dye from aqueous systems

A scientific study at the University of Basra prepared by professors Dr. Ola Ali al-Watar and Dr. Atheer Mahmoud Haddad, in cooperation with research teams from the University of Duhok, the University of Manchester in Britain, Al-Azhar University and the Petroleum Research Institute in Egypt, in the fields of organic chemistry, polymers and analytical, on advanced hydrogels from the common polymer pyrene / graphene oxide reductant to efficiently remove the dye Congo red from aqueous systems

The research was published in the ChemistrySelect Journal Impact Factor: 2.1, A Q2 Second Quarter Journal, published by Wiley-VCH GmbH, an international publishing house.
The research aims to provide a comprehensive study on the efficiency of hydrogels specially designed to remove Congo red dye from aqueous systems, with a study of the dye adsorption process and thermodynamic analysis.
