Doctoral thesis defense at the College of Science discusses Dyes Removal from the Aqueous Solution

ِThe Department of Chemistry at the College of Science organizes a doctoral thesis defense  entitled "Extraction and Removing of Dyes from Aqueous Solution by SPE Method Using MWCNTs and their Derivatives"

The doctoral thesis discussed the chemical preparation of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and their derivatives and their use as extraction surfaces for the positive Bismarck Brown-Y and Orange-G dyes using the solid phase extraction technique. The study also concluded the effectiveness of the prepared surfaces in removing these contaminants. The study recommended the possibility of using these surfaces in other techniques such as cloud point extraction and other extraction methods
