The Department of pathological analyzes at the Faculty of Science,University of Basra organized a workshop entitled " measurement of blood clotting factors Pt,Ptt, iNR." 

 The workshop aimed to train students on the use of the latest methods in measuring blood clotting factors. 

 The workshop, which was attended by Professor Dr. Hanaa Salman, teacher Dr. Ahmed Hatem, assistant teacher Marwa Jassim Abdul Kader and assistant teacher Ola Abdul Shaheed, included

A detailed explanation of the coagulation factors present in the blood,how to form them and how to measure them,in addition to training students on the use of the latest devices currently available in the measurement of coagulation factors Pt, Ptt, INR. 

 The workshop recommended the use of newly available devices to measure the analysis of Pt, Ptt, INR and not to work with the usual methods used earlier because of the lack of accuracy in them,while the method of fluorometry is considered more accurate in the results.patients with blood and heart diseases are advised to follow up and conduct PT,Ptt, INR analysis periodically in order to avoid any complications resulting from the rise or fall of these factors.
