by the graduate student Aseel Abdul Hameed .The study aims to find an alternative drugs against Leishmaniasis and included isolate fungi from sediments of Al -Faw region and diagnosis these fungi genetically and morphologically and collect the mushroom Agaricus bisporus with extract secondary metabolites from these fungi by different chemical methods then tested these compound against Lieshmania donovani in vitro and in vivo

The study was recommended to increasing interest in isolating fungi from extreme environments due to their effect in stimulating fungi to produce new secondary metapolities that have uses in the field of medicine and pharmacy and completing the purification of the extracted chemical compounds and reaching a final diagnosis , so, conducting histological tests on the cell- line instead of using laboratory animals and studying the aspects companion immunity.
