The students and teaching staff of the Department of Geology at the College of Science - University of Basrah organized a cultural awareness festival on the occasion of Women's Day to highlight the role of women in society. The festival included various segments in the presence of an audience of students and professors, and at the end, some distinguished female teaching staff in the department were honored as role models for women.
